A British Council exhibition.

An exhibition of 90 pieces by 19 makers selected by Muriel Wilson, then Deputy Director of Visual Arts . The exhibition comprised mostly production pieces made from non-precious materials, plastics, resins and metals, and showed a wide spectrum of styles and influences. The exhibition was accompanied an illustrated catalogue with an introduction and essay by the selector (ISBN 0 86355 141 6). The exhibition toured until 1997.
