Summary
The ‘Brown Betty’ is one of the most traditional teapots with a rounded belly and high shiny finish on a dark brown glaze, it is considered perfect for brewing tea. These teapots were originally made by the Ridgway Pottery and were sold as Genuine Old English Brownware, which led to the nickname ‘Brown Betty’.
