A British Council exhibition.

An exhibition of 18 drawings of artists who were then termed as middle-generation artists, those who were well established in Britain and beginning to make significantly international reputation. The exhibition was intended to give some insight into the state of British sculpture in the mid 1980s, and was accompanied by documentary photographs of three dimensional works. A catalogue with an essay by John McEwen was published to accompany the show. ISBN 0 86355 010 X.

The exhibition originated in 1984 and was disbanded in 1987.
