HENRY MOORE DRAWINGS
An exhibition of 34 drawings and seven large photographs of sculpture. The museum in Guadalajara published a check list of works with a facsimile of a letter from the artist to Mathias Goeritz in which he wrote: "Pre-Columbian Mexican sulpture has been the most important single influence in my own sculpture - I should love to see it, in its own environment." The Galeria de Arte Mexicano published a catalogue (Spanish only), with an essay by Geoffrey Grigson. No ISBN number.

Sculpture
A three-dimensional work of art. Such works may be carved, modelled, constructed, or cast. Sculptures can also be described as assemblage, in the round, relief, and made in a huge variety of media. Contemporary practice also includes live elements, as in Gilbert & George 'Living Sculpture' as well as broadcast work, radio or sound sculpture.
