An exhibition of drawings and sculptures dating from 1927 to 1961. The Mucsarnok published a catalogue (Hungarian only), with a text by Herbert Read. No ISBN number. The exhibition was subsequently shown in Dublin and coincided with the unveiling of the Yeats memorial. This was the first exhibition of Moore’s work to be seen in the Republic.
A catalogue, with an introduction by Donal O’Sullivan, a message from the Provost, A J McConnell, and an essay by Herbert Read, was published to accompany the show. No ISBN number. The exhibition was subsequently reformulated for a tour of Canada and included 22 bronzes covering the period 1955 to 1964.
