Summary
“I design things to fulfil a need; usually with kitchen and table-ware items it is the need to make something for myself, for my home or to improve everyday items, to accommodate my way of using utensils.
I produced the lemon squeezers for my graduation show at the Royal College of Art in 1994. The range of work consisted of colanders, ceramic graters, bowls and the lemon squeezers all designed for function, but with a twist inspired by Portuguese Manueline Architecture, and produced in bright coloured glazes.”
