CONTEMPORARY GRAPHIC ART
An exhibition, sponsored by the Hollar Society of Prague, comprised 125 examples of contemporary British graphic art line engravings, wood engravings, etchings, aquatints, lithographs, linocuts and colour block prints, together with 21 finely illustrated books published 1926-1946. The exhibition was selected by James Laver, Philip James and A E Popham.
It was shown in five centres in Czechoslovakia: Prague, Brno, Morovska-Ostrava, Bratislava and Liberec.
On its return to London 85 prints were selected to be shown in the UK.
