An exhibition of 28 sculptures and 12 drawings covering the period 1935 to 1964, and organised by the British Council. Various separate editions of the catalogue were published (Norwegian, Danish, Dutch and German) by the participating museums for the European tour, with an introduction by J P Hodin. No ISBN numbers.

An enlarged version (45 sculptures and 23 drawings) was shown at the Rijksmuseum Kroller-Muller, and a reduced version (34 scuptures and 13 drawings) was shown in Basel, turin, Karlsruhe and Essen).
