50 ANS D'ART MODERNE

This exhibition, of over 300 works, formed the cultural centrepiece of the Brussels World Fair. The British section was selected by an international committee of which Sir Philip Hendy and Sir Herbert Read were members. The British artists were Walter Sickert, Paul Nash, Graham Sutherland, Ben Nicholson and Henry Moore.
