SCREEN
In 1992 Charles Booth-Clibborn, under his imprint The Paragon Press, published a group portfolio London. The intention was to showcase a group of younger artists (born mainly in the 1960s) resident in London and who were acquiring an international reputation. The same principle characterised the Screen portfolio which again included a younger generation of artists (born between 1958 and 1970) of London-based artists. The brief was to make a screenprint and the only limitation was the size. The portfolio title referred not only to the medium of the print, but also to the fact that most of the artists worked with video or photography. The portfolio was proofed and editioned at Coriander Studios in London and published in an edition of 75.
