Summary
“After the birth of our second son, we were looking for a way of working creatively together on a new project that we could develop in the evenings when the kids were in bed. T-towels were attractive for their ubiquitous and useful role in the kitchen and as a vehicle for contemporary imagery, using bold and colourful silk-screened graphics of everyday things. Our first series featured objects connected with washing up such as detergent bottles, the sink, u-bend and drainer. This has extended to books, vases, crockery collections and to everyday patterns around the house like lace curtains or wallpaper.”
Telegraph Magazine, September 2002 quoted in Everything but … The British Council 2003
