Born in 1966 in Augsburg, Germany, Wolfgang Breuer works in Berlin and London. After studying at the Städelschule between 2001 and 2004, his work has been shown in solo exhibitions at Between Bridges (2006), Neue Alte Brücke in Frankfurt (2008), KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin (2009) and the Cubitt Gallery in 2010.

Breuer is interested in industrial design and graphic design and how they might relate to fine art practice. Past exhibitions have included photography and re-appropriations of street furniture. The artist has also carried out public art works in the form of subtle interventions in the built environment.
