Collaborative Collections is a group of curators from six museums from across the Western Balkans. They have been working together to select a core group of works from the British Council Collection for an ambitious and innovative exhibition for the region.
This exhibition will keep the momentum from the success of Henry Moore: Master Printmaker, 2015, Damien Hirst’s New Religion, 2016, and Grayson Perry’s The Vanity of Small Differences, 2017. However this time the collection will be used to celebrate women in visual arts.
Taking part are:
Arta Agani, National Gallery, Kosovo; Blagoja Varošanec, Museum of Contemporary Art of Macedonia;Jelena Ognjanović, Gallery of Matica Srpska; Lana Pilipović, Museum of Contemporary Art of Republika Bosnia and Herzegovina; Natalija Vujoševič, National Museum, Montenegro and Milan Lucic from the British Council.
