Summary
The art of Langlands & Bell is an exploration of the complex web of relationships linking people and architecture and the coded system of circulation and exchange which surround us. They have utilised new laser technology to create an ethereal space mapping the airline routes of the world within a block of crystal. This extraordinary work has been produced in Russia using a unique process which combines advanced computer programming skills with the latest laser technology, first developed during the Cold War by Russia as part of its star wars programme.
