Summary
This work is one of the illustrations for Glory of Life by Llewellyn Powys, published by the Golden Cockerel Press in 1934. The book was completed after Gibbings had left the Golden Cockerel Press. The work shows him at his best: his flair for commanding a page not yet betrayed by careless drawing.
