Summary
'The Calfbearer Suite is a group of 6 prints, 3 etchings and 3 silkscreen, based on the sculpture from classical Greece. It is a haunting image, (possibly due to the ambiguity of whether a rescue or sacrifice is being depicted) both enigmatic and beautiful. I made the prints at the beginning of my career before moving to Greece to pursue my own Odyssey.'

Sculpture
A three-dimensional work of art. Such works may be carved, modelled, constructed, or cast. Sculptures can also be described as assemblage, in the round, relief, and made in a huge variety of media. Contemporary practice also includes live elements, as in Gilbert & George 'Living Sculpture' as well as broadcast work, radio or sound sculpture.
