The artist wrote of this work that “In making this chandelier I was inspired by the environment I was working in. Not just the office itself with its bold colour scheme, openness and glass, but also by this city in the heart of Europe. Brussels is a city with a tradition of architectural features, chandeliers from all eras and an abundance of antiques and glorious flea markets."
