Summary
A Trip to China Town was a musical comedy in three acts by Charles H Hoyt with music by Percy Gaunt and lyrics by the author. The play ran for almost two years on Broadway and was later turned into a silent film featuring Anna Wong in 1931. The popularity of the musical involving misinterpretation, intercepted letters, lost wallets and romance was such that it spawned various touring versions on both sides of the Atlantic.
