Summary
The Garden is part of the Screemportfolio. The work had its origins in a video, ‘The Garden’, which Wearing made in 1993. A transvestite, a prostitute and an escort girl were invited to assemble, alongside the artist, in a garden and then asked to wear T-shirts, purchased by the artist, and invited to perform in the video. Wearing herself appears second left in this work
