SCHOOL PRINTS
School Prints, published in the 1940s, was a scheme by which artists were commissioned to create original lithographs which could be editioned in very large numbers and sold cheaply to subscribing schools to enable children to enjoy real works of art. Each work has a printed border to act as ‘frame’. The works were printed at The Baynard Press.
