Summary
Morocco Bound is a musical farce in two acts by Arthur Branscombe with music by F Osmond Carr and lyrics by Adrian Ross. It was first staged in 1893 and opened the same year as Gilbert & Sullivan’s Utopia, Limitedand shared their taste for settings in a far flung country. The plot involves an Irish conman who travels to Morocco, accompanied by assorted characters, in the hopes of winning theatrical concessions there.
