Summary
‘Trained in sculpture and basket making, I have become a designer and maker of functional and non-functional objects and art works using the techniques common to basket making. Quotidian waste materials such as juice cartons, corks, plastic bags and bottles, vans, telephone wire, newspaper, cardboard, bottle tops and anything else feasible are the challenge and the inspiration for the work. They are combined with strong forms and wit to create objects that I hope have their own identity and thereby intrigue, amuse and maybe inspire the on-looker.'.
