Summary

The Kodak Girl made her debut in the UK The Daily Mail in 1910 designed by the artist John Hassall and based on a photograph by Cavendish Morton. The girl in the striped dress became synonymous with the brand and Kodak commissioned some of the best artists and illustrators of the time. Her dress and the camera she carried altered with the changing decades. She made her final appearance in the 1970s.
