James Mcintosh Patrick (1907 – 1998)
James Patrick was born in Dundee, Scotland; he studied at Glasgow School of Art and later in Paris. He is best known for his minutely observed landscapes of scenes within a 20 mile radius of Dundee. When the print market slumped in the 1930s, he began teaching part-time at Dundee College of Art, making illustrations for postcards and journals.
