Summary

“I made Objects made at workin secret, working in a framing factory. I realised how much time was actually taken up at work, when I wanted to be working in the studio. I started making the objects to try and reclaim some of the time spent working. All of the objects were small enough to be hidden quickly up a sleeve or in a short top pocket, and like scrimshaw work they were made from available materials; found off-cuts of wood and fashioned by the available tools and sandpaper. Each object took days, sometimes weeks to complete, using only the time made available whilst at work.”
