Paul Drury (1903 – 1987)
Paul Drury was born in London, studied at Goldsmiths College. He made some 92 prints of which about a half were portraits and a quarter landscapes which reveal an influence of Samuel Palmer whose work enjoyed something of a revival in the 1920s. He later taught at Goldsmiths, becoming principal, and President of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers.
