Summary
Words in books usually go left to right in lines. Words in pictures can shoot off in all directions. However, in the case of this VISUAL TEXT, which was one of a series, I combined several layers of linear narrative in such a way that they set up a contradictory overall visual pattern: different sized handwritten and typed text and fragments of visual images (‘illustrations’) continually interrupt the linear flow.
