An exhibition of 29 sculptures, and 17 graphic works drawn from the collection of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the British Council. Artists represented: Robert Adams, Kenneth Armitage, Lyn Chadwick, Hubert Dalwood, Barbara Hepworth, John Hoskin, Bernard Meadows and Eduardo Paolozzi.
The showing in Ulster formed part of the Londonderry Festival.
For the showings in France five works by Henry Moore were added to the exhibition.
A Norwegian version of the catalogue, with an introduction by David Thompson, was published. A French version of the catalogue was published by the Musee des Augustins. No ISBN numbers.
