British section organised by the British Council. Works by Michael Bennett, Stephen Buckley, Alan Green, Bill Jacklin, Keith Milow, and Sean Scully were presented under the title The Process of Paining Works by Six Young English Painters. The Biennale included a retrospective exhibition of works by Picasso.
