Summary

I make furniture, smaller functional objects and architectural installations. My work is concerned with the reuse and recycling of post-consumer materials and their transformation into elegant, functional craft objects. I am particularly interested in working with cement-based composites. Metzzo is a new material I have developed through research over a number of years which combines cement with waste bottle glass. The story of developing Metzzo began as an attempt to find a new language of constructing with glass and the material is now used successfully in tables, seating, lighting and tiling.
