SEATED FIGURE III: DARK ROOM 1974
Henry Moore (1898 – 1986)
- 171 x 241 mm
- Accession number
These works were intended as a small album from the start and was one of two published directly by the artist, during a period of great demand for his work. The seated figures were taken from ideas in a sketchbook and are of rather static matriarchal women, similar to a maquette of a seated woman which was in the graphic studio at the time. The album of six lithographs was published by the artist in an edition of 50.
