Summary

This project derived from a proposed commission for the Ministry of Transport building in London. The artist had envisaged a number of friezes for the bare walkways around each floor; in the event the work was never realised. Madron Woodcutstook one of three maquettes as it starting point. The title refers to a village near Frost’s home in Cornwall, the most south westerly county in England.

The portfolio was proofed by Hugh Stoneman, and printed by Stone Graphics in Cornwall. It was published in an edition of 35.
