Summary

Top: three monkeys in a cutaway ar6ist impression spaceship nose.

Bottom: The North American aviation X-15 rocket powered aircraft made its maiden flight over the Californian desert on 10 M ARCH. The research aircraft was carried aloft and ‘dropped’ from a B-52 ‘Mothership’ which took off the runway at Edwards Airforce Base, California. Interior, scaffolding holding the wing f B-52 under which hangs – scaffolded – the X-15. Two men at control wall.
