Clive Vosper was born in Brighton in 1947 and studied Printmaking and Painting at Brighton Polytechnic in the 1960s. He returned to Brighton University in 1986 to study for a MA in Fine Art Printmaking.
Working in a range of media, Vosper uses the landscape as the starting point for his prints, photographs, and drawings and he frequently make work that combines these mediums.
His solo exhibitions include Furlong Gallery, Wisconsin USA (1998), Artists Gallery, Worthing (1999) and Nelson Gallery, Brighton Festival (2006). His work is represented in private and public collections including Birmingham City Art Gallery, Cambridge Library, Kingston College and the Liverpool Museum.
He lives and works in Chichester, West Sussex.
