Rosalind Nashashibi was born in Croydon, and studied at Sheffield Hallam University from 1992 - 1995, and later at Glasgow School of Art. She was awarded the Beck's Futures Prize in 2003, was included in Zenomap, the Scottish presentation at the Venice Biennale, and in 2004 was included in the British Council exhibition Britannia Works in Athens, Greece, as well as exhibiting a solo show Songs for Home and Economy at CCA, Glasgow. She currently lives and works in Glasgow.
