Chloë Cheese is an illustrator, painter and printmaker born in London in 1952. Daughter of two artists, she studied at Cambridge School of Art and Royal College of Art and won a Royal Academy drawing prize in 1972.

Her first solo show Still life in London and Paris was held at the Curwen Gallery in 1979 and followed by many others mainly in the UK and Japan.

Cheese worked as a freelance illustrator both for the Sunday Times Colour Magazine and the Observer and was included in a touring exhibition organized by the British Council in 1985 titled Illustration from Caxton to Chloë.

She currently lives and works in London.
