Angela Bullock was born in Ontario, Canada and studied at Goldsmiths College in London. Her sculptural objects have the appearance of ready-mades or meticulously constructed modernist prototypes - furniture, lighting systems, floor coverings and mechanical devices for constructing drawings, which are unwittingly or voluntarily altered by the audiences when devices are triggered to activate light, sound or function. Table Loop in the Collection inverts the traditional role of gallery furniture - private contemplation is replaced by communal interaction and discussion.
