Don Brown, born in 1962 in Norfolk, attended the Central School of Art and the Royal College of Art.

His work comprises naturalistic, figurative sculptures of personal subjects including himself and his wife Yoko. Brown’s work suggests classical technique but often plays with scale and colour, giving a more contemporary approach.

,p>He exhibited in group shows at the Royal College of Art in 1988, Lisson Gallery in 1993, the San Francisco Art Fair in 1995, Ikon Gallery in 1997 and Sadie Coles HQ at Contemporary Fine Arts in Berlin in 1999. His solo exhibitions included Don at Sadie Coles HQ in 1997 and the Jerwood Space Inaugural Sculpture Court Installation in 1998.
